| BookWorm Adventures (PC Game) BookWorm Adventures is a game to make words. There are several options, go through Adventure to make words as long as you can, through Arena to make words as fast as you can, or mini-games, such as Word Master (which is guessing a 5-letter word in 5 guesses). Although it is actually a one player game, it has become a family effort, especially on Word Master and Adventure. My computer is in the living room w/no TV, and all that has to be done, is to start a game and gradually everyone begins to sit where they can see the screen and help to think of words. And we have fun doing it. Most of our High Scores are group effort. BookWorm Adventures can be purchased online various online game sites. We have not seen it in a store, but some retail stores may carry it, because they do carry games made by the same company. |
| Mystery PI Series Hidden Object Games (PC Games) These are games that have a variety of scenes and a large variety of objects to find. The objects that must be found differs each time you go through the game to solve the mystery, or you can go through each scene to find all of the objects. The three that we know of, and have played, are Mystery PI The Lottery Ticket, Mystery PI Vegas Heist, and Mystery PI New York. When we play these games, they are, sometimes, group efforts as well. Two or three of us may sit together and find objects. In these games, you solve a mystery (finding lost item or solving a theft) by completing each level to find a clue. Once you have all the clues, you must use the clues to solve a puzzle to solve the mystery. Mystery PI games can be purchased online at various online game sites.
