Founding 'Fathers' Quotes

I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it. - Thomas Jefferson, to Archibald Stuart, 1791
I prefer the risks and challenges of being FREE, than the hardships of living under a government that disapproves & has little to no tolerance for differing opinions.

"The individual who refuses to defend his rights when called by his government, deserves to be a slave, and must be punished as an enemy of his country and friend to her foe." - Andrew Jackson
Anyone who refuses to take a stand to make the effort to defend our rights and freedoms (or those that help to take them) - will have no right to complain about the outcome.

The probability that we may fail in the struggle ought not to deter us from the support of a cause we believe to be just. - Abraham Lincoln
Even you feel that anything you say or do is not going to make a difference, because they are going to do what they want to anyway -- you are not alone. But, you should not keep you from making an effort. It's the same concept that can be made to cause a bank to fail. Put it to make people feel/believe that a bank is failing & eventually it does fail. They want you to feel as though anything you do is not going to make a difference, because if you feel that way, then odds are ... you won't do anything.
